The Journalist and Businesswoman, whose business is Revista Capital Econômico, will take on expansion projects for one of the largest Marketing and Advertising Agencies in the world

TW&C, Global Marketing and Advertising Agency, has a new partner: businesswoman Kelly Couto.

With more than 15 years of experience in the business area, the executive carries a long portfolio in the media and communication market, in both ON and OFF line environments.

Having worked in some communication vehicles, including Finance One – News Agency that belonged to Grupo UOL, with more than 15 years in the market, Kelly will be responsible for developing and monitoring projects that need to establish the best relationship and communication between brands and consumers, as well as the new generations.

The journalist and businesswoman, who currently lives in Massachusetts (USA) – one of the world’s important financial, commercial, educational and technological hubs -, continues to dive headfirst in search of knowledge and professional development to support the agency’s areas of innovation e works of quality and excellence.

Black Representation in the Media

Daughter of a maid who barely knows how to sign her own name and having started as a Telemarketing Operator – where she worked for years in the sector, Kelly continues to build and solid a beautiful career in the area of Communication & Marketing and inspiring many other people, especially black women. And when it comes to representation in the Media Market, the inspiration is even greater.

This is because, in a study carried out on the Racial Profile of the Brazilian Press, by Portal dos Jornalistas/Jornalistas & Cia, in partnership with Instituto Corda – a Network of Projects and Research and I’Max, concluded that the presence of blacks in the Press is 20% against 77% of whites. And among this percentage, 70% of blacks are salaried workers and only 3.7% are business owners.

“It’s not about being ahead of the business in the media and communication market. It’s about being able to show the strength that we can have, especially for us women, who have very little representation in this environment”, concludes businesswoman Kelly Couto who, in addition to being the owner of media businesses, represents a market that is also timidly commanded by the female strength: Economic and Financial Market.
