First Weekend of 32nd Rodeo in Americana-Sao Paulo

With tickets at popular and affordable prices, people filled up CCA event park for the Rodeo and  sports shows which started on the 8th and finished the first weekend of the festival on the 10th.The festival will however end on the 17th of June,2018.So there is still time for those of you who missed the first weekend. According to the festival president Beto Lahr, the three-day event met the expectations of the organization. “It was a very joyful day, with the presence of the public that once again confirmed the quality of our party, which makes it a reference for other events of this kind in Brazil,” he summarized.   Another good news is that the collections for the Hospital de Amor de Barretos in just three days, surpassed the mark of 2017. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday R$563 thousand,were donated.   On Sunday the 10th, musical attractions began earlier. The duo Matheus and Kauan took to the stage singing there hit “Te Assumi Pro Brasil” shortly before 10 pm and encouraged the audience until the Sertenajo brothers César Menotti and Fabiano took over the stage. In the repertoire full of idioms, “Telefone Mudo” meaning “Mute Phone”, “Leilão” meaning “Auction”, “Saudade de Minha Terra”  meaning “Missing my home town ” and “Estrada da Vida” were sung in chorus by the audience. The brothers, who began their career singing in bars, also presented their current work “Disco Arranhado” and “Não importa o lugar” meaning “Disco Scratched” and “No matter the place” respectively, which are part of the homonym album, released in 2017.

It is worth mentioning that the festival was opened by Anitta,Brazilian singer with the others like Marillia Mendonca, and followed by the likes of Simone ,who performed without the presence of her sister Simara,who was ill, Wesley Safadao, Djs Samhara and Dennis in the first 2 day getting the public satisfied. There were also, side attractions for kids who had fun playing with mini bulls,goats etc and they had lessons about animals and farms.It was something of a kind.And not forgetting about the lost and found area and lockers to help people keep their stuff while enjoying their stay at the park.

As the festival is about Rodeo,animals and their riders,some animals received awards alongside the winners in their different categories.
