A Tribute to Sergio Motta-His support against Dictatorship
The Memorial of Resistance of Sao Paulo paid a tribute to Sergio Motta on the 26th of November,2016 at the Auditorium Vitae,Largo General Osorio,66,Luz,Sao Paulo.This date 26th of November was choosen for the event as Sergio Motta would have completed 76 years old that day.There was a roundtable talk with the presence of famous activists and intellectual who discussed and contributed to the Resistance.They pointed out the activities and actions made by Sergio during the Resistance.He started his Political activities in the student movements,right in the 60s and he was very active in the popular action and acted in the clandestine structure of the Resistance,though,his actions were little known.He later became a businessman in the engineering sector but continued active in the Political scene occupying public posts till 1998 when he was the Minister of communications and later died poorly.
