The Adventures of Poliana

With the idea of bringing families together,SBT will show its new soap opera Adventures of Poliana, on May 16th,2018 at 9pm.It was written by Iris Abravanel ,based on POLLYANNA,work of Eleanor H Porter and directed by Reynaldo Boury who had worked in other soap operas with Iris,the first one was in 2012 with Carrossel. It’s worth mentioning that this is the 10th year of Iris Abravanel as a soap opera writer. What’s so important about this new soap opera is to show and focus on the idea to renew ones hope with positive thoughts and good news and to always look at the good side of life.According to Iris,the writer,everyone needs good news. This soap opera teaches us that we find moments of happiness in small things and to be satisfied no matter the situation.
The soap opera is about a young girl called Poliana (Sophia Valverde) with free personalty who lived with multi- talented artistic parents;Lorenzo (Lazaro Menezes) and Alice (Kiara Sasso) Poliana lived in the world of theatre on wheels;house and stage together and always on the road.Though,the family is really United and happy,they had financial problems during their life. Poliana’s parents taught her something;a Game of Satisfaction”
to always see good side of everything, especially in unwelcoming situations.
It was during one of their road performances in the northeast of Brazil that Poliana met Joao (Igor Jansen) a humble young boy who fell in love with their musical presentation. Joao’s parents;Tiao (Helder Sossa) and Josefa (Luciana Vidal) were the opposite of Poliana’s,as they were very tough and hard.Joao was forced to leave school and help his father Tiao with his work and even at home and thus developed interest in music and got his mom’s attention.
Destiny brought Joao and Poliana together,this time in Sao Paulo.
At the age of 11, Poliana had to move to Sao Paulo to live with her mom’s relatives ;D’Avilla.
At the same time,Joao,tired of his dad’s harsh treatments, decided to leave home in the direction of Sao Paulo.
It’s a very interesting story and you can’t miss Watch the Soap Opera at SBT television,
