The South Korean singer SPAX (ex Blanc7), has been in Brazil since March and had defined plans for 2020, which included going out with his “Space Tour” around the world. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, he needed to reorganize his plans and actions, and taking advantage of his stay on Brazilian soil, he decided to present his fans with an unprecedented song, and for this he invited Brazilian pop singer Francinne.

SPAX has a very strong connection with our country, and from that connection the desire to record something more Brazilian was born and, while researching music and singers, he discovered the work of this little princess of pop, Francinne, who is on the rise and has conquered her space in National Pop. He immediately invited her to create a Portuguese version of the song “Te Quiero Mas” together, which had its Korean version released on Valentine’s Day this year.

Launching set for the next July 31st on all digital platforms, “Te Quiero Mas”, produced by DJ Shateau and producer Mister (?), Reminds us of a romantic evening atmosphere on the beach, mixing languages and rhythms. Between K-pop and Korean words, the music gets involved with the pop melodies and the words in Portuguese, establishing this musical ‘Brazilianness’ and promising to be the next hit of this connection between the two nations. Francinne, who also signs the composition for this version, shows her versatility as a singer and songwriter.

In addition to music, what has stood out a lot among this new partnership is the photo shoot made by Spax and Francinne, which has been breaking existing cultural protocols within this music industry, where, for Koreans, it is common to ask that during Fan sign or Meet & Greet, fans do not embrace or kiss artists in general due to the cultural shock between West and East, not to mention the form of heated greetings from some fans in these countries that end up making ‘Idols’ uncomfortable.

“The song speaks of romance, we try to leave this essay with the face of the song so we brought this more passionate concept to the studio. Because of the quarantine we had not met in person, all contact was always digital, our first meeting was to take the photos. Francinne is beautiful, she has an incredible voice, she is a great artist, we created this new scenario and concept for this release together, I wanted to bring the maximum of Brazil to this single. ” Spax says confident in his new job.

“Receiving an invitation from Spax, took me by surprise and made me very happy, because at this moment we present a more mature work, more like Francinne, we can explore the strands, and join forces within the pop universe. It is beautiful to see what music can do by uniting such distant nations, and he (Spax) is a sweet, very polite one. I am really excited about what we have created. ” says Francinne

The KPOP industry has a large Brazilian audience, which guarantees crowded shows by groups of this style, generating great commotion among fanbases, who always accompany all the steps of their idol or favorite group.

So, mark the launching day “July 31st” in your calendar and enjoy the new song uniting Korean and Brazilian together.
