New York City Triathlon race took place on July 1st 2018,starting with the swimming part at Hudson River on 99th street,then the bike race and finally the running part that ended right in the Central park on 72nd street.There were many athletes  ranging from professional to amateur and para athletics.The competition started around 5.50am and finished around 1pm.The Professional race was won by Ben Kanute (Men) and Sarah Haskins Kortuem (Women) both Americans and a Brazilian Santiago Ascenco came 5th.The Amateur race was won by Marcelo Moreira,a Brazilian,while Elisabeth McTernan won the para athletics.
