Now we have The 1st Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival in Washington DC-Says Dr Claire Nelson, the Organizer

Dr Claire Nelson,went on stage and firmly holding the microphone, shows how important the success of having the first Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival here in Washington DC on June 19th,2016.It wasn`t easy according to her,but,thanking God,it came out successfully.According to her,Jamaican culture,music,lifestyle must be shown to the Americans;especially here in Washington DC.She demontrates the importance of thanking the Mayor of Washington DC and advices the people to enjoy everything being offered at the festival….She was dressed up in African/Jamaican attire with big, long beads and shells necklace,,ear rings;all showing the root of her belief. Apart from Reggae music,What else does Jamaica export to the world? I asked.She was so quick to point them out;

,the fastest runners,the best coffee,liquor;just to mention a few…She even sang Redemption Song of Bob Marley and I was so moved to join her in that .She is such a cool,attentive and ambitious woman and this is just the beginning according to her.There would be more and more Jamaican festival here in Washington DC.By Niyi Fote
