There was a mass shooting at Tops Supermarket around 2.30pm on Saturday (14) on Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo, New York with 13 people shot, 10 dead and a big blow to the city.
Payton Gendron, the 18 years old suspect, who isn’t from Buffalo, is already in Police custody and was heavily armed. He had a racial slur written on his weapon and the incident was streamed live on social media. He started shooting at the supermarket parking before entering the store.
11 of the victims are black, 2 white and a well loved security guard is among the dead. Four of the late victims were workers of Tops supermarket.
There was a big presence of many law enforcement officers at the scene. The suspect was arraigned later at night before a judge and was charged with first degree murder. The suspect’s lawyer pleaded not guilty for him
