American civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr died on April 4th, 1968 and January 21st being his holiday, I paid a visit to Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he and  his father preached.Dr King Jr made his first sermon at Ebenezer Baptist church in the fall of 1947. The church is located on Auburn Avenue in Atlanta Georgia, and it has been a place for tourist attractions from all around the world.It is possible to see everything in the church and the Martin Luther King Jr National Historic site on the same compound. It is really touching and interesting as one sees memorable things at the place and even the clock on the church wall, below the balcony, stopped at 10.30am, time of his funeral on April 9th, 1968.This year 2019 is the 50th anniversary of his assassination.And because of his peaceful protests, black people got better treatment in America.
