Early voting in New York started on October 24 and will go on till November 1st.
At Robert Wagner Middle School, in East Manhattan, New York, there was a long line of people waiting for a long time before the opening of the polling station at 10am on the first day .
There was a double long lines of people that started from East 75 street with 3rd Avenue and goes all around till 2nd Avenue and East 76 and back to the Polling station.
People were complaining of the long waiting time and some of them brought books, newspapers to read while others brought their portable folding chairs as they wait. Inside the polling station, people were given hand sanitizers, keeping 6 feet distance from each other.
Significantly, poll workers are shielded with glass protection as they attend to voters, while others move around helping out voters.
The early voting is From 10am to 4pm on weekends, 7 am to 3pm on Monday and Friday and from 12 to 8pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The elections day is on November 3rd.
There are Police officers inside the polling station and outside to provide law and order.
