American game streamer and influencer Kai Cenat, most known on Twitch and YouTube, made an online post promising his fans to give away PlayStations thereby making thousands of people to crowd Union Square in Manhattan as soon as he arrived on the scene.
The fans started committing acts of violence against the public and police; throwing cans, rocks, bottles, fire extinguishers, and other objects into the crowd which eventually led to a big riot in Union Square.
The Police had to step in to provide security to New Yorkers. They made a wall of barricade on foot and horses; Cenat was removed from the local because of security reasons and taken into custody.
