The Super Cup Final took place on Sunday (11) between Flamengo of Rio de Janeiro and Palmeiras of São Paulo at Mané Garrincha stadium in Brasília with few fans to cheer both teams as a result of COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.
The game started with a goal scored by Raphael Veiga of Palmeiras in 2nd minutes of the first half while Gabigol drew in 23rd minutes of the same half.
Flamengo was able to changed the score board with another goal from G.D Arrascaeta in the 49th minutes of the extra time still in the first half making it 2-1 in their favor.
The game went on like that until the 74th minutes of the 2nd half with a magical goal from Raphael Veiga, drawing the game 2-2.
Decisively, the two teams had to go on penalties and Flamengo played better defeating their opponent by 6-5 winning the Super Cup for the second time.
