The Fernandópolis City Hall set up one of the only plants in Brazil with its own oxygen production structure at Fernandópolis UPA (Emergency Care Unit).

Santa Casa already has an oxygen plant, but the rent and implementation of the second unit should help supply the product.
This hospital oxygen plant is providing support in the care of Covid-19 patients in Fernandópolis and region that are served at the unit.

“The Fernandópolis UPA is one of the first cities in Brazil that will have its own oxygen plant, providing greater day-to-day safety to all of our patients who need the product. This is a great achievement for Fernandópolis at a time when we are working so hard to combat and control the Coronavirus. I thank all of our partners, collaborators and entrepreneurs who contributed to the achievement of this achievement,” said Mayor André Pessuto.

According to Fernandópolis’ epidemiological bulletin, on April 13, three more deaths by COVID -19 were recorded in the city. These are two women, one 90 and one 85 and a 54-year-old man. All were admitted to the UPA and had comorbidities.
