The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned the sales of Juul vape products from US market starting from Thursday (23) and those already in the US market must be removed or risk enforcement action.
Some doctors and health officers have mentioned the dangers of people especially young ones, of using e-cigarettes which is mostly responsible for vaping epidemic.
The ban is on the marketing and sales of the Juul vaping device and four types of liquid pods: Virginia tobacco flavored and menthol flavored pods with nicotine levels of 5% and 3%.
Any retailers with doubt or question about products they still have on shelves or in their inventory should contact Juul.
