Colombia hosts Copa America Women 2022.

The 9th edition of Copa America Women 2022 is taking place in Colombia from July 8 through 30 with 10 South American teams affiliated with Conmebol.
The tournament is a gateway for 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand.
Brazil being the defending champion has participated in all the editions and won in 1991, 1995, 1998, 2003, 2010, 2014, 2018. Colombia the host, was runners-up in 2010 and 2014.
The tournament draw took place in Colombia on April 7th placing the 10 national teams in 2 groups, A and B. Group A – Colombia/Chile /Paraguay/ Bolivia/Peru
Group B
Brazil/Argentina/Venezuela/Uruguay/Ecuador.
The soccer games will take place in the cities of Armenia, Bucaramanga and Cali. The two best teams from each group advance to the semifinals and whoever advances will play in the final scheduled for July 30th.
