Brazilians living in and around New York and some other people ,about 1.5million,came together to celebrate their independence anniversary on 2nd of September,on 6th Avenue ,starting from the 43rd street right in New York city.Actually,Brazilian  independence anniversary is on the 7th but it was celebrated few days before.It was presented by Ana Furtado and with many side attractions; like  musical presentations by Paralamas ,DJ Dennis,MC Koringa,Toni Garrido and others,It was really crowded and people were really involved with the music and entertainment.There was Police protection and good security system.
