Are Japanese afraid of North Korea`s Nuclear Testing?

Even after UN sanctions on North korea in an effort to discourage the country from their nuclear weapons acquisitions and craziness,it fired a ballistic missile on Friday September 15th,2017 over northern Japanese island of Hokkaido.In fact,this is the second in just a month.North korea`s intention is to send a signal to Donald Trump and the USA.The country is really mad and furious over what the US has done and still doing;getting the UN security council to carry out sanctions against North Korea.Now,Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has a different view from his earlier peaceful intentions with North korea and he said North Korea`s test is against “the international community’s strong, united will for a peaceful solution.” But,are the Japanese afraid of this nuclear testing? According to Nari Ueda,thenews2 Photographer in Japan and this is also the general view of most Japanese,
“I don’t think many Japanese people are concerned about North Korea but they feel terror.
Because nuclear tests and missile tests have been conducted for a long time.”
“I think that repeated experiments are messages to the United States. For that reason, North Korea is issuing a message to injure Japan and South Korea, allies to the United States.But their aim is on the United States and I think that the day they really attack Japan and Korea is when the negotiations with America breaks down.” he said and also warned “If North Korea attacks Japan and South Korea now, there is no reason for America to accept negotiations, it will create reasons for attack.” And then, he believes
“The interest of North Korea in the world is nuclear tests and nuclear weapons, but Japan’s attention is slightly different.That is the abduction of the Japanese which North Korea has done in the past.
Japan wants to solve the problem of nuclear testing.”
It is right to say that the Japanese people continued with their day to day activities without any fear for North korea`s nuclear testing but would this continue for a long time? Well,time will tell.
