Apple adopts temperature checking for customers.

With an effort to stop and contain the spread of Coronavirus, Apple Store on 5th Avenue in Manhattan adopts temperature checking for any customers entering their store this July 15th. Customers are asked some health questions and after, go through temperature checking before they are allowed to stay on the queue and still maintaining 6 feet distancing.
There is a notice for customers both in English and Spanish languages, informing them of some Covid-19 related instructions to be met before they are allowed into the store. Apple emphasizes the importance of having few people inside the store, maintaining 6 feet distancing, the use of facemasks and if customers didn’t have, they could ask for one and there is the availability of hand sanitizers everywhere in the store.
In addition, some questions are asked prior to customers’ entrance in the store; like, “Do you currently have a fever?” “ Do you currently have a cough?” “Are you currently experiencing any respiratory issues?” “Have you been in contact with any suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the last 14 days .”
There are many Apple workers using facemasks, moving around with their iPads helping out customers while on the queue and the number of customers continues to increase on a daily basis at Apple. However, the long queue is no hindrance to them.
