48th NYC Pride March 2017

The 48th Pride March 2017 took place in New York on June 25th with the theme “We are Proud” on 5th Avenue from the 36th Street through Christopher Street ending at Greenwich Street with a party.There were many participants from around the world.There were music,dances,food,hugs,rainbow flags and many floats with special attractions. The LGBT used the opportunity to drive home their objective of equality of sex and there were some protests and few arrests by the NYPD but it was peaceful all along.It started at around 12pm and went till late evening…Many people lined up along the sidewalks to cheer and support the march.
