Brazilians say “No” to PEC 55/241-Proposed Amendment to the Constitution
Brazilians came out on Paulista Avenue,Sao Paulo, on Sunday 27th of November, 2016 to protest against the government`s plan to approve PEC 55/241 -Proposed Amendment to the Constitution- that limits public spending and is considered one of the pillars of fiscal adjustment. PEC 55 (formerly know as PEC 241), if approved, will limit the Federal Government’s investment in Education, Health and Social Assistance for the next 20 years.
