Since Saturday (the 27th), the use of masks in public areas in Milan has been mandatory again to prevent a new wave of Covid-19 cases; Omicron, from South Africa.
The measure was determined by center-left Mayor Giuseppe Sala and will be valid at least until December 31, from 10 am to 10 pm.
Those who disrespect may pay a fine of 280 to 400 euros. And the Mayors are already moving independently to re-establish the restrictions , at least in the areas with the greatest circulation.
And as Christmas gets closer, it’s very important to avoid and contain the spread of this new variant .
