Donald Trump abruptly escorted to Oval Office because of shooting at the White House..

The USA President, Donald Trump was abruptly interrupted during his press conference on Monday 10th and taken to the Oval Office by secret service agent as there was shooting outside the White House premises. The suspect, who was armed, was shot and taken to the hospital.

The President returned later to continue the press briefing. He said: “It was a shooting outside of the White House… I’d like to thank the Secret Service for doing their always quick and very effective work… Somebody’s been taken to the hospital.”

The President said he doesn’t know the suspect’s condition. “It was outside of the White House. Somebody was taken to the hospital. It was the suspect who was shot.” He added.

The secret service later tweeted “The Secret Service can confirm there has been an officer involved shooting at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Ave. Law enforcement officials are on the scene. More information to follow.”
